hey plus i think i may have figured out how to do the thign
Café Soleil was simply where people went when they wanted a taste of Pokéstar glamour, and all of Lumiose knew it. It's location was perfect for those that wanted to be seen, and not just because the Diantha was often seen taking tea there. With the PR Video Studio across the street, and Coiffure Clips right next door, the stylish and well-known were always a walk away.
Cheryl was something of a regular, now, thanks to her consistent trips down from Laverre. She always chose the outdoor table to the left of the door as her haunt when she stopped by with her pokemon. It gave her a good vantage to see the large video screen on the PR building, and also peek down the rest of the street with minimal neck-cracking. Emil almost always spent his time sitting in the girl's lap, napping away the afternoon sun and occasionally coming around when presented with a gumdrop or six. While most people seemed to revile bug types, the galvantula's presence was accepted a lot easier than Cheryl's other pokemon, Penny. The dodrio insisted on sitting in one of the cafe chairs like a person, with her three heads held high as people passed. Occasionally she'd bend a beak down to take a sip of her berry-blend tea, or a nibble of her galette, but overall her forceful presence made the staff slowly accept her eccentricity. The bird's overly-classy aura was aided partially by the gardevoir also sitting at the table, seeming much more...shy and awkward about the whole affair than Cheryl's other two pokemon. Taking occasional spoonfuls of his chocolate cheesecake mousse, Reggie seemed to be consistently trying not to make eye contact with a small sandwich board propped up on the table, facing the street. The sign could have been much worse really, and Reginald knew Cheryl meant well with it, but...
DO YOU KNOW THIS
RALTS? KIRLIA?
GARDEVOIR?
He is missing his OT! Please inquire if you lost a pokemon around Rivière Walk!
...a lot of creeps and opportunistic liars tried to claim their "missing pokemon" because of it's message. Reggie was always quick to ensure he didn't get sent away to some thief, but he'd never had the forcefulness to tell Cheryl that the sign wasn't needed anymore. The pair had been together for months now, and while he did miss his original trainer, he would miss her if he found him. The complicated feeling plagued him most of the otherwise sunny and pleasant afternoons the team spent in Lumiose, because he couldn't dare ruin Cheryl's optimism that his original trainer could be found.

2 lazy 2 make account rn
And galletes. Especially galletes.
From the looks of things, he'd just exited the Pokemon Lab in fact, with a sleepy looking Lucario shambling by his side and a Sylveon perched on his shoulders and hat, still gnawing at the gallete Yves had purchased him earlier, while getting crumbs all over the brim of Yves' hat (Yves could of course, never get mad at Dominique for it, he was far too adorable anyway).
Yves had been perfectly content to continue on his way, actually, but it was Sebastian (that dozy looking Lucario that had been on Yves' team almost as long as his once-a-fennekin had been) that took notice of the cafe across the street; his ears perked up, and he sniffed the air as his gaze fell on the other gathered group. For Sebastian, it was easy to read the aura, but for his trainer, Yves was a little more confused as to why the aura Pokemon was bounding across the street to inspect the Gardevoir and the sign, as his expression piqued with surprise and he quickly made to follow.
"Ah-- Bonjour!" Yves greeted the girl and her Pokemon with a friendly smile as he hustled across the street to follow his Lucario. If it wasn't already obvious he was a Kalos native, it was on a blinking billboard now.
"Hope I'm not interrupting!"
i'd call you rude but you tagged me at all so
Thankfully, Cheryl was not nearly as rude as her three-headed primadonna. "Ah- bonjor? Bonjour!" Her accent was still painfully thick, and frankly the redhead was far from an expert at the Kalosan language, but she was doing her damndest. She sat up very carefully, trying not to disturb her fuzzy spider from it's napping, regarding the lucario first, and the boy second. Frankly, as someone from Sinnoh, she was much more trusting of a lucario than she was of random strangers- it was just a built-in reaction to what was considered one of her country's treasures. Reggie, likewise, seemed to be still as a stick in a dead breeze, spoon bent to take another swath of cheesecake, but stopped mid-motion.
"Not interrupting at all, we're here for a reason afterall!" She tipped her hat back some, smiling broadly and patting Reggie's shoulder. The gardevoir seemed to snap out of his staring, and looked to Cheryl with a spaced out expression. "D'you know Reggie here, Mr. Lucario? We've been trying to find his trainer for like, ever it seems~"
yeah that's what i thought
At Cheryl's question, Sebastian flicked his nose up in the air and let out a happy cry in response; after which he pulled away from the table and nodded.
"Sorry, I guess Sebastian got a little excited. You must remind him of his old friend," Yves said, his smile persisting as he shrugged his shoulders a bit sheepishly. " I used to have a Ralts myself, up until I headed through Camphrier Town. Guess Reggie reminds him of his old friend."
